China Dragon - Portugal Magricos 1-2

Dragon takes the lead with a goal of Ge Yunfei. Magricos scores two goals and Indrek saves a penalty and he is the best goalkeeper of the match.

United Arab Emirates - China Dragon 2-0

Roger debuts with China Dragon. Indrek is elected as best goalkeeper of the match.

Russia - China Dragon 3-2

Dragons take the lead with a goal of Roger. Russia scores 3 goals and at the end Roger scores another goal with a free kick.In the picture: Roger's second goal

Rahvuste karikavõistluste IV etapp Sportland arena September 27th 2008

Fourth stage of the tournament organized by the Estonian football federation.

Due to some injuries only 5 Dragon players can take part: Marco, Rein, Ge Yunfei, Fernando and Ruslan.

FC Käpäz - Dragon

The Azerbaijan team is awarded the match, due to the fact that Dragon just has 4 players. The teams decide to play a friendly match with mixed teams. Ge Yunfei scores one goal.

AC Patr - Dragon 1-0

Dragons face for the first time the team representing the Russian republic of Mari El. Ruslan joins the team, but Fernando is the goalie. Mauro, Heiki and Leo play for the first time with Dragons. The match is balanced, after a cross of Leo, Ruslan and Ge Yunfei have a good opportunity to score but they are not lucky. Patr wins thanks to a penalty.

Boitsy - Dragon 6-0

Second match in a row for Dragons. The Belarussian team comfortably wins.

Dragon - Maccabi 0-2

The Hebrew team wins but Dragons have couple of opportunities to score but no luck. Maks, a young guy of another team, plays for Dragon.

Friendly match versus JK Kernu Kadakas on August 5th 2008



China Dragon has the the pleasure to play versus JK Kernu Kadakas, a football team of the Estonian second division. The friendly match is 8-a side. The goalkeeper of Kernu Kadakas plays with Dragon team along with three new potential Dragons.
The friendly match ends 9-7 for Kernu Kadakas.

Dream team cup Laagri Jalgpallistaadioni July 26th 2008


Tournament organized by SEM.

The format is 8-a side and two halves of 10 minutes each.

Dragon team is drawn in group A with Arvato, United and Milvi FC.

China Dragon - Milvi FC 2-2

Debut match for Indrek with Dragon Team. The match is quite balanced but Milvi takes the lead, suprising the Dragons. Anyway, thanks to one goal of Yunfei Leo and one of David from free-kick, the Dragons turn the tide but Milvi manages to equalize at the end.

Arvato - China Dragon 2-0

In the first minutes the Dragons show very good organization and skills but two sudden and lucky goals of Arvato end the match. Arvato goes defensive and with two counter attacks try to score more, but Indrek is careful. Rein debuts in the second half.

China Dragon - United 3-0

The ad-libbed team of United can count on good players but few organization. Dragons take the lead and comfortably win. Three goals for Leo but Dragons have at least other two easy opportunities.

Four points are not enough to pass to the semifinals. In the last match of the group Milvi FC comfortably defeat the qualified Arvato and win the group.

Rahvuste karikavõistluste III etapp Sportland arena May 24th 2008


Third stage of the tournament and new format: 7-a side outdoor football tournament. The matches are divided on two halves.


China Dragon has to face Polonia and Mamuli in the group A.


China Dragon - Polonia 3-0

Second match between Dragons and the Polish all-blacks. Dragons play solid and they do not blow the goal opportunities. Few chances conceced to Polonia, but Ruslan is always careful. First victory in the history of the team and debut match for Gerry. Thanks to this result, the Dragons are qualified for the second round.


Mamuli - China Dragon 3-1

The Georgian Mamuli is the champion of the second stage and they show an excellent tactical organization. China Dragon has the only option to play a defensive game. Mamuli wins but the Dragons plays good vs. a tough team and they even score one goal.


China Dragon - Tatarstan 1-1 (2-4 after penalties)

For the consolation round the Dragons have to face the team from the Russian republic of Tatarstan. The match is fully alive and the Dragons demonstrate a good organization, taking deservedly the lead with a goal of Jinwei. The referee can not see a couple of hard faults on Yunfei Leo who on the contrary is booked. Tartastan equalizes and they start to complain with Ruslan who is undersevedly booked. At the penalties, the mistakes of Fernando (out) and Yunfei (saved) are decisive.


China Dragon - Anatolia 2-3

For the first time the Dragons play versus the Turkish training mates. The Dragons start with only 6 players due to Gerry and Fernando early leave and the injury of Yu Danny. The Turkish are cold in the box and they score two goals. The match seems over but two goals of Marco (the second one assisted by Sergio) allow the Dragons to equalize. In the last minutes Yu Danny can play but the Turks score the decisive goal.

Rahvuste karikavõistluste II etapp. Kalev sports arena April 19th 2008



Second stage of the tournament organized by the Estonian football federation.


This time China Dragon is drawn in group A with Anzhi, Kiili and Dnipro.

Same formula: first team of the group for the victory of the tournament; second team for the consolation round.

China Dragon - Kiili 0-2

It is the debut match for three new Dragon players (Fernando, David and Ruslan) while Jiwei is injured and Jinming is in China. The match is balanced but China Dragon has more opportunities to score and to take the lead. However, the Estonian side Kiili scores and doubles by a penalty given for a handball of Marco (red card) in the goal line. China Dragon throws away a good opportunity versus an affordable team.


Anzhi - China Dragon 9-0

China Dragon has to face the champions of the first stage, the team from the Russian republic of Dagestan and it is a match to forget. Anzhi are very organized, they have more than 5 subs and they deserve to win.

China Dragon - Dnipro 2-4
After two defeats, the match versus the Ukrainian side is just a consolation match for China Dragon. Dnipro takes the lead and double, but thanks to two goals of Yunfei Leo China Dragon equalizes. Dragons attack more to try to win the match for the honor but finally they concede two more goals to Dnipro who wins the group.

The first futsal tournament for China Dragon.


It is a 5-a side tournament and every match lasts 17 minutes.


China Dragon is drawn in group D with Polonia and Maccabi.

The first team of the group will compete in the second round for the victory of the tournament. The second team will compete in the second round for the 5th position.



China Dragon - Maccabi 3-5

At noon the debut match for China Dragon is not a lucky one. Maccabi is a very organized team (they even have a coach) and they have many subs, while China Dragon has just 2. Althought that, the match is quite balanced and Maccabi wins with a gap of 2 goals.


Polonia - China Dragon 3-3

It is the critical match to pass to the second round while Maccabi is qualified defeating Polonia 10-0. A draw can be enough for China Dragon. China Dragon leads 3-0 with a strong defense and a prolific attack. Polonia takes advantage of a couple of substitutions and a relaxing behaviour of the Dragons and manages to equalize 3-3 at the end. Lot of drama, but China Dragon reaches the second round to struggle for the 5th position.



China Dragon - Tugas 3-5

The match vs. the Portuguese side Tugas is very similar to the one vs. Maccabi. Tugas are much more tactically organized and they have many people on the bench. Dragons are very solid and they manage to equalise 3-3. But other 2 goals end the match with the victory of Tugas.

Strommi - China Dragon 8-2

The consolation game is versus the aggresive Estonian side Strommi. Dragons are tired after the difficult match with Tugas and they do not have a break time. Strommi comfortably wins but the Dragons scores at least 2 goals.

China Dragon Football Team

China Dragon Football Team is an international amateur football team based in Tallinn, Estonia. The team debuted on March 8th 2008 at Rahvuste karikavõistluste I etapp, an amateur football tournament organized by the Estonian Football Federation (Eesti Jalgpalli) at Kalev indoor sports arena.

The team name derives from the fact that most players of the team are Chinese.

The dragon is a mythical creature in East Asian culture with a Chinese origin.


A number of Chinese proverbs and idioms also feature references to the dragon, for example: "Hoping one's son will become a dragon" (望子成龍, i.e. be as successful and powerful as a dragon).


The team takes part to amateur futsal tournaments or outdoor football ones with undefined number of players.

The team is composed by players from different countries: at the moment people of 7 nationalities have played for China Dragon Football Team.
